While the others where quite
tired and wanted no other than to take a nap, I took a walk and found
this sign. And yes, this was the road to Bethlehem.
|
 |
In the late afternoon
of this day we started to drive towards Eilat, where we arrived late at
night. |

The Aquarium at Coral Beach.
We were all fascinated of the Trunk fish. A little cube formed fish that
looked really funny.
|
A sea turtle saying
hello. He/she swam in one of the tanks at the aquarium. |
 |
 |
First night in Eilat
we went to the Red Lobster Restaurant. Nice place and nice food. |

While the others were taking
a nap in the sun chairs...
|
 |
 |
...I went swimming.
The water was not that cold I thought, though it were not to many in the
water. |
This is The Hilton in Eilat.
It opened the same day that we visited it, and wasn´t all finished.
It was really amazing.
|
 |
 |
When the planes
went down for landing it felt as if they were going to land in the middle
of the city. The runway started right in the city. Quite unusually we thought. |
On the terrace of
our hotel. A nice spot from where You could see allover Eilat. |

The way back. As You can see
it is mostly asphalt and desert. And straight roads.
|
The Dead Sea from
the car. The water was kind of green coloured, and there were piles of salt
in the water and at the beaches. |
 |
 |
Swimming in the
Dead Sea. We were actually floating around. You were not supposed to dive
in the water which I of course did not recognize until afterwards....got
quite a heartburn. |
